Another indie game today, called Neon Drive. It's a driving game in which your goal is to dodge obstacles coming your way. Seems pretty basic? Well here's the twist.
80's Aesthetics
The game art design is everything neon, and 80's, with a sweet soundtrack, all in synch with the dodges, like !Osu or Guitar Hero. The controls are extremely basic, the ambiance isn't, it feels good, great even, and you want to keep going, to see more of the level, so that the music does not stop.

Those are not your basic obstacles
You won't just drive a car, you'll drive a plane, become a transformer and for a segment, the game will become a sidescrolling platformer. It's intense, it's fun, it's addictive.

You have a vertical level, a top view level, everything is done to shake up the format, and not fall into your basic dodge/reflex game.
The game is currently available for 10 bucks on steam, but it goes very cheap during steam sales, so watch out for those !
Game modes :
For completionists, you've got a bunch of achievements, that you will have a hard time completing, the hard modes being pretty difficult. You can complete each level in 3 different difficulty modes, plus an additional one being the endurance one, which makes you chain the levels as long as you stay alive, in order to top the leaderboards, in addition of getting you an achievement.
Verdict
Overall the game is pretty good fun, I have played a few hours, and it was overall a great experience. The only issue I have with it is the price tag of 10 dollars, which is pretty expensive for such a small game, compared to Superflight for instance, which I have also reviewed, but it often goes in sale, so there's that. https://ripostebytisba.blogspot.com/2018/05/a-flight-game-that-will-make-you.html
All tracks are pretty unique, the gameplay feels good, and the difficulty is overall pretty fair. I haven't dared tackling on the hard modes since I was already struggling to finish all levels in normal, but hardcore players will find what they are looking for in those.
