5 ways you can make your gaming squad more efficient.

The Fnatic LoL squad

Very often, you hear about a team explaining what let them to victory, shotcalling, individual skill and outplays, good communication, but not everyone is an aspiring pro player, so what can you do to make sure your squad performs well most of the time?

1 - Communication

What's very important, is making sure everyone is on the same page all the time. For instance in Fortnite, you'll need to make sure your team agrees on the name of locations, and doesnt just say "on the left or the right", or call that "the red house" while others call it "the house on the hill". This kind of miscommunication will lead to issues and probably death. Make sure you all have the same calls, or calls that everyone can understand. (I'm looking at you, that teammate thatcalls every fortnite weapon by their kind of CS GO equivalent).

travis scott communication is on point tho

2- Assess individual skills

If someone usually performs better than others with a certain type of weapons or champion, make sure they are in their comfort zones, while the more flex players can just take whatever comes their way and have a decent impact. There is no shame on being unable to hit a shotgun shot, but if you don't tell your mates, you might end up with it and underperform pretty hard.

3- Shotcalling

Like in every group work, someone usually needs to take the lead, no matter what. If not, people will go their own way. Usually the most respected player, or the best one, should take this role. He will take care of saying where to go, whether or not to engage the enemy. He has to be decisive, or some people will act recklessly and usually get everyone killed.

4- Criticize

Do not think I meant you need to blame others. What you need to do, is figure out what went wrong and fix it for the next game. It is very important to make sure that those critics are not basic flaming.
If you set a toxic environment in your team everyone will act defensively, and no efficient communication and team building will happen, plus everyone will just be scared of making an error and get flamed, constructive criticism is important, but don't turn it into a formal execution.

I'm just kidding with that wikihow link (look at it tho), but just make sure everyone is okay with talking about what just happened, and if you criticize others a lot, make sure you can accept being criticized to.

5- Have fun !

If you don't have fun, there is no way you will perform well, or you will just burn out, it's a game after all, have a good time ! If you are reluctant to play a game, take a break, and go back to it. You are not paid to do it (for now), so don't do the korean way of improving.
